Portola.ai

Tolan, an AI companion by Portola.Ai, fosters secure attachment and encourages users aged 16-26 to step out of their comfort zones and build new habits. Students were tasked with enhancing the user experience—onboarding, initial interactions, and retention—to strengthen the user-Tolan relationship. Through developing a pitch deck, improvement plan, and prototype, students explored the benefits and challenges of AI, contributing innovative solutions to help Portola improve its user experience.
